PROFILE
I am a freelance professional with a solid background in language, writing and translation.
I was born in London in 1970. My family moved abroad when I was 11 and I studied at international schools in Oslo and Vienna before returning to the UK at age 16 to continue my education. After university, I spent 18 months travelling and working in different parts of Europe and Asia.
I worked as a journalist on my return to London, contributing articles and photographs to local and specialist publications, and then began working in the music industry in a variety of roles. I moved to Barcelona in 1999 and, following a spell as an English teacher, began working as an online music journalist. I have worked on a freelance basis since early 2002.
